KNM / Map Editor: Auto generate maps

This may sound like a crazy question, but to me it makes a lot of sense (especially since the NOC View problems have appeared).
Is there a way to have the map editor or KNM create auto-generated maps where we see the following:

1. Map of all gateways where each gateway links to:
   1. All (sub)groups in gateway, where each (sub)group links to:
      1. Device or subgroup in that (sub)group.

If this could be auto generated, it would save me (and probably a lot of people) a lot of time, since everything we want to monitor is generated in a map.
I really do not want to open the map editor and build a new map for each new customer we get (or edit an existins map for each new server we install or have to monitor).

Does anybody have an idea how to do this? Is this available or should I create a ticket, which then gets to be a feature request (to not be heard from again)?
